Interim Commissioning Manager (Homecare/Domiciliary Care)

Salary: £400 - £450 per day

We are working with a Local Authority in London who are hoping to appoint an Interim Commissioning Manager to lead on the redesign and procurement of Home Care (Adult Social Care.

This role will include the following:

Design of a new model, including data, spend and demographic analysis to support the model, financial modelling (supported by finance colleagues),
Model needs to consider patch based provision, including/ treatment of reablement provision, specialist vs. generic care etc. It will also need to factor in potential to move to LLW (costs, benefits, likelihood etc) and potential to reduce zero hours contracting models. It will also need to demonstrate alignment with the CCG Whole Systems Integrated Care model.
Market engagement and warming, leading a home care re-procurement board, engaging with members and senior council staff and well as service users and other stakeholders
Sign off of model and lead procurement process
Implementation of new model and evaluation.

We are looking for someone with the following:

– Has experience in the last 12-18 months of Home Care Services in Adults (also known as Domiciliary Care)
– Has not been limited to working for just one LA, he likes the thought of someone who has a variety of perspectives and experiences from more than one LA as an Interim
– A Commissioner who has been involved in the re-procurement of such services (cradle to grave: mapping out the marketgoing to marketrunning the tender processcontract award)

This role is going to last approximately 12 months and is paying £400-£450 a day.
